''A key requirement from our client was to help the design team running different RIBA Stages in parallel, allowing for the planning process to continue whilst starting construction on site. We developed a specific workflow to allow the production of information from the BIM model to suit the different levels of information required for the different design packages without compromising the coordination process. As part of this workflow, we used our bespoke Complex Profile Extrusion Design Tool to manage the modelling, information and production of the 4,995 individual ceramic tiles of the cladding based on the manufacturer's standards to ensure maximum efficiency, including from a cost perspective.''

The project consists of the 3D modelling, coordination and BIM data management for the delivery of a new build mixed-use scheme following ISO 19650 protocols to provide a community centre and 38 apartments.
Our client for this project is Yellow Brick Estates (https://ybestates.com/) a forward thinking developer involved in a number of projects in and around London.
We were contracted as BIM and Archicad experts to coordinate the design in 3D with the project team working in different authoring platforms.
We worked alongside an experienced and diverse team using different software. The team included:
airc.design (Architect - Archicad), Fairhurst (Structural, Civil - REVIT), Consolux (MEP engineering - REVIT), Guarda Landscape (Landscape Architect - Vectorworks - SketchUp - AutoCAD), Steel Frame Solutions (SFS Contractor - Vertex BD Pro 2022) and ANTVIC (Contractor - 2D CAD PDF).
As part of the team, we delivered the project from RIBA Stages 1 to 6 completed in February 2023.
All 2D and 3D information including the full architecture construction set has been extracted from the Archicad 3D BIM model we developed.
